Paddler's Party

Celebrate the day’s accomplishments over a burger& beer while the DJ entertains you. Athletes can purchase tickets for the paddlers’ party at Race HQ Saturday morning.

Welcome to the 2nd Annual Whistler Dragon Boat Festival

The Whistler Dragon Boat Festival is also the second race of the 2009 Water's Edge/One Apparel Race Series! Join us for a weekend spent in some of the most spectacular scenery in the world filled with beating drums, fierce paddling, cheering spectators, and live entertainment! Water’s Edge is excited to partner with Whistler and RMOW to add this event to the host of July activities in Whistler at Rainbow Park on Alta Lake. Your team will enjoy all your favorite aspects of a Water’s Edge event and our partners in Whistler will ensure you and your friends & family have access to excellent affordable accommodation options and summer activities to make this weekend getaway a must for Summer 2009!

New for 2009 is a paddlers’ party, vendors, event DRYfit tech shirts for participants, and various awards including a team spirit award and medals. Teams that are participating in the Race Series will also be accumulating points to put them in the running for the Series cash prizing!
